We visited this public space at one of the first sunny days of the year. The square was pretty crowded and most of the terraces were full.<br /><br /><p><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7552/2813/400/leidseplein1.jpg" border="0" /><br />This public space is one of the most famous places of entertainment in Amsterdam. Places like Paradiso, de Melkweg, de Balie and the city theater are all located at the Leidseplein. </p><p><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7552/2813/400/leidseplein2.jpg" border="0" /><br />The thing I didn’t like about the Leidseplein is the fact that there are constantly trams crossing the square. It breaks the square in two different spaces.
